Branch President's Report

AT 137, PP COLONY, PATNA, DT –  31st March 2012

I thank all of you for your love and support and most importantly, I would like to thank my parents for guiding and supporting me all along.

I would also like to thank all the committee members who have stood by me at every step of the way and without whose support I would have certainly fallen short.

As the Honorary Secretary will inform you in detail with regards to the various activities conducted by the branch during the period April 2011 to March 2012 this day, I will dwell only on the Ruby Jubilee Celebrations.

The Ruby Jubilee Celebrations was a unique event conducted by our branch.  I thank all the members for their support and co-operation.  But I would fail in my duty if I don’t thank my committee members.  First of all I would like to thank Mr. Alfred George de Rozario for being the beacon light showing us the way and being there whenever we needed him. Thank you Dad.

I would like to thank the organizing secretary – Tyron Lazarus for doing the paper work and may I add the dirty work in putting things together and giving the whole concept a shape.

How could I forget Allan Cowell and the inputs put in by him ??  It was because of him that we had plan A and plan B and at times plan C.  All bases were covered.

The enthusiasm of Donald Cowell, the artistic fervor shown by Andrea Norman and James Reid, the interest taken by Derek D’Souza and Terence, Prashant and Vivian, and the money matters man Mervyn DuBouis. All need a special mention and a personal thank you.

I would also like to thank Catherine and Yvonne for their valuable inputs and the youth committee headed by Agnes de Rozario.

Did I leave anyone out ???  Of course I did, I did not mention Adrian Blaquiere and Michael Daniell.  I would like to emphasize, that the logistics support given by Adrian was fantastic.  He even taught us how to say no -  ask Alan.

Michael Daniell – I would like to thank for the wonderful Souvenirs although he was playing 12th man.  He was an integral part of the organizing committee.  They were truly the men of the match.  Please give them a special round of applause.

Thank You and God Bless.

 Eric de Rozario
