Relief, Inc. is a not for profit
organization, based in the USA, dedicated to
helping indigent Anglo-Indians in India.
Currently the fund provides
a monthly pension
to 50 seniors in Calcutta, 20 seniors in
Madras and 10 seniors in Bangalore. CTR also
sponsors 16 young Anglo-Indian girls as
boarders at Loreto, Entally. For more

- Lists information
on the colony in the new State of Jharkhand
(
previously in Bihar). One of the most
ambitious projects ever undertaken by the
Anglo-Indians. The colony was set
up way back in the early 1930's - a pioneering
project which unfortunately never took off the
ground. 10,000
acres of virgin land was taken on
perpetual lease from the Maharaja of Rattu by
the then Colonization Society of India
(CSI) for setting up the colony exclusively
for the Anglo-Indians.
